Grow in your relationship with God and with others. Join a group today.

A small group is a group of three or more people who gather each week in a home, venue, or online. In a group you’ll fellowship with others, study the Word, and pray together. Groups come in all shapes and sizes so no matter where you are in life, there’s a group for you.

Meet Our Hosts

Wellie & Patrice Chea, Small Group Hosts

We aim to be "Stretcher Bearers" as inspired by Luke 5:17-20 and James 2:26.

We meet every Wednesday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Our meetings follow a hybrid format, combining Zoom and in-person gatherings at the home of Wellie and Patrice Chea in eastern New Providence. Starting in the summer of 2023, we will primarily meet in person. Our group consists of people aged 35 to 68, including both men and women.

Our main purpose is to study and worship God's Word, living out active lives of service and support, guided by the teachings of Jesus. We strongly believe that being part of a small group offers more than just attending church; it gives you the chance to establish meaningful connections and receive support from like-minded individuals.

Our group provides a safe space where you can openly share your thoughts, fears, challenges, and celebrate together with others.

We are convinced that we are not meant to go through life alone - we need Jesus and each other!

Brittany Sherman & Whitney Fowler, Small Group Hosts

We are a community of young professionals who enjoy good food and travel.

The group meets at NPCC every Wednesday at 7pm in the Library, where we share a meal and study God's Word. We are a mixed group with both males and females. Most persons in our Small Group are Millennials, with ages ranging from 27-42.

Our Small Group is centered around fellowship and spiritual growth.

We welcome those like-minded individuals who seek a more meaningful relationship with God.

Uriel Adderley, Small Group Host

We are a group called "The Justice League" who find inspiration in the bible verses Ephesians 2:8 and Acts 2:42. We meet on Mondays from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm, primarily using the online platform ZOOM, but sometimes we also meet in person at NPCC Blake Road.

Our group includes people aged between 30 and 65, with a mix of men and women (5 men and 5 women). We have members who work in various professions such as government, church, business ownership, law enforcement, and stay-at-home moms.

Our small group allows us to study the Bible together, build lifelong relationships, and create a safe space where we can openly discuss our journey with God, our fears, and the challenges we face in our daily lives.

We engage in debates, discussions, and elaborate on a variety of topics, while also celebrating and appreciating the unique perspectives that each person brings to our group. All our conversations are grounded in our shared belief in Jesus Christ and the understanding that we need the support of our Lord and each other.

Daphne Moss, Small Group Host

Our Small Group began 7 years ago. We get together on Wednesday evenings from 7 to 9 pm. Most of us live in the western part of New Providence.

We are a group of families who are focused on finding our purpose and deepening our relationship with God.

In January 2023, we started meeting in person at NPCC again. Everyone in our group took part in the recent Alpha Series, and after that, most of us joined the Good Sense - Financial Counseling Course. We are currently on a break until September 2023, and during the new ministry season, we plan to study a specific book or series together.

Patrice Tinker, Small Group Host

Ours is a recently formed group. We are about ministry – supporting and serving each other.

We aim to know the character of God through in-depth Bible study and working alongside each other in outreach - being the serving hands and feet of our church.

We are open to single and married persons - anyone willing to learn, grow and help others grow in relationship with God. We are planning to meet on Tuesdays from 7pm - 8:30 pm. Initially, we are proposing a hybrid in-person meeting at least once a month at NPCC unless there's a need for more to compliment Zoom meetings.

Victoria Allen, Small Group Host

Our group includes males and females, married and single.

We put a special focus on in-depth Bible study using a study guide and video.

We meet at the Vicki Allen’s home on West Bay Street on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Ben & Chelsea Hessels, Small Group Hosts

Ours is a new group that meets on Tuesdays at our home in Sandyport from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. All are welcome!

Myrna Collins, Small Group Host

Our small group meets on Wednesdays 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at NPCC

We typically do a 6 to 8 week segment of Bible study. It is usually done through a video followed by discussions.

We love to create and organize purpose driven projects in our church.

Some of us are also involved in other service ministries at church.

Dencil & Sharon Rolle, Small Group Hosts

Our small group is a mixed group of age 18 and above that focuses on building relationships with others and strengthening our relationship with God.

Our meetups take place on Thursdays from either 7:00 - 8:00 pm or 7:30 - 8:30 pm at Garden Hills #1, located off Baillou Hill Road.

Our main goal is to support each other in growing our faith and deepening our connection with God and others. Together, we strive to be positive examples and inspire others, fostering a desire to start their own small groups.

We would love to have you join us and take part in this meaningful journey!

Tyrone Ferguson, Small Group Host

We are a new small group meeting at our home located in central New Providence on Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.

Our mission is to create an environment where anyone can come to find acceptance, belonging and feel safe to explore faith and grow through fellowship and bible study.

Carla Taylor, Small Group Host

We have an exciting new Small Group just for you! It's all about fellowship, discussion, and growing spiritually. We're a group of awesome young ladies aged 17 to 25.

We meet every Friday evening at 6:30pm at NPCC. Our discussions revolve around current issues facing young ladies, and we explore biblical viewpoints. The Bible is our guide, and together we'll learn, grow, and support one another.

Our mission is to be ladies who trust in the LORD with all our heart, leaning not on our own understanding. We acknowledge God in everything we do, and God will direct our paths.

Come join us for a warm and friendly atmosphere where we can grow together in faith and friendship. See you soon!

Our Small Group is centered around ministry and serving, growing in our walk with God, and doing life together.

We are in the western part of New Providence. Our group meets Wednesdays at 7:00 pm on Zoom although this year we have had some meetings at NPCC while meeting on Zoom at the same time for those who could not make it in person (hybrid).

We range in age from early 30s to late 50s and are mostly a singles group but we do have an active married couple.

We welcome those who enjoy beaching, are foodies, and have a passion for God, single parents, children, and those on the margins of society and we can’t wait to meet you!
